I. APPROVAL
This Report was approved at the Annual General Meetln8 of the Club, held in St Columba's Parlsh Church Hall,
Omagh on 2 Aprll 2025.
2. RULES
CONSTITUTION
The Club was establlshed for the advancement of education and protectlon of health among older people
aged 60 years or over In Omagh and Its environs (herelnafter called the 'area of benefit,) and in partlcular:
Provide facilities in the interests of soclal welfare for recreation or other lelsure-tlme occupatlon, with
the object of Improvlng the condltlons of Ilfe for older people;
Ralse awareness among the general public of the needs and exper5ences of older people In the area of
benefit.
Provide or secure the provlslon of educational and recreatlonal facllltle5 and practical assistance for
older people wlthln the area of beneflt.
Provlde Informatlon on matters of health and soclal welfare and refer older people In need of
professional assistance to relevant statutory or voluntary agenclqs.
Organlse or asslst In or8anlsln8 meetings, lectures, classes and exhlbltlons. and publish or asslst In
publlclsing reportsi periodicals, recordlngs, books or other documents or Inforrnatlon.
Obtain, collect and recelve money by way of grants, donat5ons, bequests, legacies or other lawful
method* provided that the Club shall not undertake any permanent trading activitles.

3. PUBLIC BENEFIT
The Trustees conform compllance wlth the statutory requirement of the Charlty CommSssion to provide publi
beneflt as follows:
The advancement of education and protertion of health amongst older people. Thls beneflt Is
evldenced by members learnlng new skills and havlng regular health checks to Improve general well-
belng.
To provide facilities in the Interests of social welfare for recreatlon or other lelsure-tlme occupation.
Thls beneflt is evidenced by feedback from Members, who report rn0￿ Confidence and participatlon
in activities.
To raise the needs of older citbzens in the wider communlty. Thls was evidenced by the increased
awareness and support from the general publ1¢.

4. In the past year 40 - 60 senior cltlzens have beneflted from the artlvltles of the Club through soclal
Interactlon. The success of the Club's programme of events has been measured by the continuing
commitment of the existing members and the gradual year on year increase in membership.
In the year from April 2024 to March 2025, the Charity received income of £6,008.00 from grant
awards and members donations, whllst the expenses amounted to £5,921.88 for caterln£ provlslon,
transport and venue cost5.
5. PURPOSE
The advancement of educatlon and protectlon of health among older people to provide facilitles in the
Interest of social welfare for recreation and to raise the awareness with the general public concernlng the
needs of older people.
