PURPOSES:
(a)
The Group Is established to promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Carricklongfield,
Aughnacloy and surrounding area, particularly the rural people, without distinction of gender,
age. disability, sexual orientation, nationality, ethnic identity or religious opinion, by associating
the statutory authorities. community and voluntary organisations and the inhabitants in
common effort to advance education, and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare
for recreation or other leisure-time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of
life for the said inhabitants.
BENEFICIARIES
The charity's beneficiaries are primarily the people living in and around the Carricklongfi8ld I
Aughnacloy area of Mid Ulster District who have been identified as being rurally isolated and
l or socially excluded.

ACHIEVEMENTS
HOW MAIN ACTIVITIES HAVE BENEFITED BENEFICIARIES
The overall aim of the project is to improve the health and wellbeing of people living in rural
deprived areas, thus supporting those rural dwellers living in or at risk of poverty and social
exclusion.
1 Group trained first aid.
1 Group trained Child protection course.
Days out bus trips.
Events treasure hunts, beetle drives, opportun((ies for community participation.
FINANCIAL REVIEW AT END OF YEAR
FINANCIAL POSITION AT END OF YEAR: Despite cuts to funding programmes, the Cultural
Group remains in a good financial position.
OUTSTANDING DEBTS OR LIABILITIES.. There were no debts or outstanding debts or
liabilities.
FUNDS IN MATERIAL DEFICIT & STEPS TAKEN TO MITIGATE.. There were no funds in
material deficit.
FUNDS HELD BY THE CHARif( AS A CUSTODIAN TRUSTEE: None- Not applicable.

We do not charge any fees.
There are no charges to access any events or services.
There are no restrictions based on personal characteristics.
PUBLIC BENEFIT
The direct benefits which flow from our purposes include improved. cooperation; good I
community relations; networking., ski113', confidence. governance in community group.,
increased capability in the management of community projects and facilities., increased access
to funding to develop projects,. better informed group representatives about the sector and
opportunities; enhanced ability to participate in decision making on policies which affect rural
areas., more access to equipment as and when the Cultural Group requires it.. strengthened
ability of the Cultural Group and individuals to avail of programmes which will improve their
circumstances and opportunities.

PRIVATE BENEFIT
There is no private benefit to any individual.
HARM
No harm has flowed from any of our Purposes.
SERIOUS INCIDENT REPORTING
There are no serious incidents to report.
VULNERABLE BENFICIARIES
Appropriate Policies. Procedures and Training are in place.
STATEMENT OF COMPLIANCE
The Trustees have complied with their duty to have due regard to the Charlty Commission
Nl's Public Benefit Guidance when 8x8rcising any powers or duties to which the guidance is
relevant.
