Abbie welcomed everyone to the AGM and thanked committee members for their work, contribution and support over the past year.

There was a brief discussion as to whether or not membership needs reviewed. There are currently 32 families signed up as members, but not all attend or participate in events and meetings. Further discussion of this will happen at the next meeting.

Copies of accounts have been forwarded to those attending the meeting

The Group realises the importance of continuing Fundraising and the following ideas were discussed:

3. Event Review

Everyone felt it had been a very successful year for events and Abbie thanked those who had contributed and organised Highlights included: Christmas Panto, Dublin Zoo and overnight, Little Wings Pizza, Fairy Trail, Stena Line Trip, W5 It was felt that in particular, more event ideas from newer members would be most welcome – at the minute a lot of events are aimed for ages 3 – 10 and some fresh ideas on what other age groups would enjoy doing would be fantastic! Members have agreed that the organisation of events needs to be shared out among families – this has been done in events for this coming year

4. Upcoming Events

Abbie to check with Debbie about availability of Playzone

Abbie has booked this and 12 families are attending on Sunday 3[rd] December at 4pm

Roisin & Sharon to look into this event & book for a Saturday

Emma to organise

There is also the possibility of a Parent / Tod / AVT event, run by Rosie Gardner at some stage early next year. Abbie to liaise with Rosie

Whilst Dublin was an expensive trip, all member agreed that it was extremely worthwhile and a huge beneficial experience for both parents and children. Everyone agreed that another similar event would be good for next year – possibly an Activity Centre? This will be discussed at the next meeting.

5. New Office Bearers

Abbie expressed how she had enjoyed being Chairperson over the last 5 years, but felt that it was time for another member to take on the role. Emma and Keith had enjoyed their first year as Secretary and Treasurer, respectively, and were happy to continue this year.

Abbie proposed Keith as Treasurer and Vicki seconded

Vicki proposed Emma as Secretary and Donna seconded

No member was interested in taking on the role of Chairperson. Abbie said she would be happy to continue for another year as long as other members would be happy to take on a more active role within the Hub. Everyone agreed this would be a good idea. The following roles were decided upon:
