**Purposes:** the charity's objects are specifically restricted to the following: To advance the Christian faith in accordance with our statement of faith To provided a setting for Christian worship and witness, in the power of the Holy Spirit, under the lordship of Jesus Christ  To provide a biblical teaching ministry to equip people for effective Christian living To advance education in accordance with Christian principles by such means as the trustees may consider appropriate. To share the good news of Jesus with others both personally and as a group for the benefit of the community. To encourage prayer, pastoral care, practical support, fellowship and missional activities. To carry out other charitable activities associated with the Church for the benefit of the community in the United Kingdom and  worldwide.  Nothing in the articles authorises an application of property of the charity for purposes which are not charitable in accordance with section 7 of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005 and/or section 2 of the Charities Act 2011 and or section 2 of the Charities Act (Northern Ireland) 2008
