Purposes
The Trust exists to promote religion, advance educatioii, pri)mote the relief of poverty and
provide facilitiiis in the interests i)f %i)Lial wo111c re for those in circumstances of iieed a5 the

Activities & Beneficiaries
During the year the charity provide further training to indivuduals on emotinnal mastery

and goal setting. They were taught the p%ychoeducatlon associated with stress, and learned
the tools used to support their own emotional wellbeing and that of the children they
support. By controlling their emotlOll.5, the indivudals will therefore be more likely to avoid
worry, anxiety and depi'ession.
The publiL benefit.s of the Tr115t are considered to outweigh tlie potential harm, and there
should be no private benefit.
The trustees have taken instruLtion on both the Charities Act 2008 and the companie.s Act
2006. They have considered in particular the obligations imposed linder the public benefits
test i)f the Charitie% ALt 2008 and can confirm that the cliarity meet% the critei'ia set di)wn
therein. Rice Family Charitable Trust became registered witli The Charity comniis.sion for
Nortliern Ireland on 20 March 20 15.

The detailed re5ult% for the period, and the company's financial position at the perlod end
are shown in tlie attached financial statements.
The total unrestricted iiicuining resources for the period amounte(I to £0 (2023.. £ 100],
with expenditure of £4,831 (2023.. £6,2 15), resulting in net incoininx expenditure for the
year of £4,83 1 (2023.. (£6,115)). There were unrestrlcted fiinds of £31,116 (202 1.. £35.947
) at the year end.
Reserves Policy
The trustees feel that as the amount of administrative expenditiire is minimal, the company
d<)es not need to hold signilicant amounts in reserves. At present there are positive free
reserves uf £31,116 (2021.. £35,947).
Statement of ComplianLe
In establishing the objective5 and planning of distribution of grants for the year, the trustees
have given careful Lonsideratioii to the Charity Commissioi) for Northern Irelaiid's gliidance

Trustees, responsibilities statement
The trustees are responsible for preparing the Trustees Annual Report and the finaJ]cial
statements in accordance with appliLable law and regulations .
Company law requires the trustees to prepare financial statements fi)r eaLh financial year.
U nder that law the trustee5 have eleLtLd to prepare tlie financial stateme nts in accordance
with United Kingdom Generally Accepted ALLounting Practice (United Kingd(Trm ALcounting
Standards aiid applicable law). Under company law the trustee% must not approve the
financial statements unless they are satisfi￿d that they give a triie and fair ViLJW of the state
ofalliiirs (If the charity and the income and expenditure of the Lharity for that period.
