Safeguarding needs to takes place every 3 years with the next training cycle due to occur in 2024. All are aware of their responsibi lities regarding reporting requirements. Bangor Congregational church is governed by its Constitution, Covenant and Code of Doctrine 2009. The Charities main activities are varied with all our main focus on public worship sen4ices each Sunday morning and evening promoting the Christian faith and through faithful Biblical teaching to bring hope and purposeful living to people of all ages. Our purpose leads only to good and has no harmful effects. Our activities within the church are varied and reach out to all age groups within the community. Bible seekers continue to meet weekly with around 18-20 children meeting in the church building. They use Child evangelism fellowship material to explain biblical truths. A parents information evening was held with around 50 parents in attendance. Ladies fellowship meets monthly during term time with around 10 in attendance.
The church continues to have a global missions focus where guest mission representatives inform the church about their artivities. During 2023 the church donated £4450 to various mission attivities. How we are funded: Bangor Congregational Church has sufficient funds in its accounts to sustain its expenses and liabilities wlth the main source of income from free will offering envelopes and loose donation. A report of our attivities and finances are prepared annually and presented for adoption at our AGM in August every year.
