TRUSTEES, REPORT YEAR ENDING 31 DECEMBER 2022 Structure Governance and Mana Nendrum College PTA is a charity that is run by a committee elected each year at the Annual General Meeting. The committee currently consists of a Chairperson, Treasurer and Secretary. The three elected members are also the Trustees of the charity. Other members help with the practical arrangements of the charity. Our full PTA membership includes all parents/careers of children currently enrolled in the school and all staff currently employed in the school. Some parents of leavers have also been co-opted into membership. All members are volunteers. The PTA works in very close connection with the College Principal and staff. ement We are registered as a charity with the Charity Commission for Nl {registration NIC102828). Overall, we are a fundraising organisation but an important part of our role is also strengthening and encouraging the home/school relationship, where teachers and parents work together to support and enhance the education of our children. Our governing document is the constitution which was adopted on 13 February 2014. Ob'ectives and Pur ose The purpose of the PTA is to advance the education of pupils in the school in particular by: Developing effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school; and Engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the school and advance the education of the pupils. The committee and members meet during the year to manage the affairs of the PTA, and to discuss and organise fundraising events. Artivities Achievements and Outcomes in 2022 This fundraising year has allowed us to recognise all the amazing staff by purchasing nibbles for National Teacher's Day and appreciating all the time and effort they put in to support our pupils. We ran our popular core events of a Quiz Night & Ballots, Halloween Disco, Non-uniform Day, and our Indoor Winter Market which was very well attended and profitable. We promoted Easyfundraising UK online and through correspondence to our parents encouraged them when doing a grocery shop to log in, select your store and once

completed the school receiving a %. We also applied to A5da through the Green Token Scheme and received £200.00. With the monies raised we were able to buy a Defibrillator for our College which was amazing. Special thanks go to Frances Wills who has worked exceptionally hard gaining and maintaining local business support for all our fundraising events. We also acknowledge the hard work of all PTA members. Finally, we would like to thank the teacher representative and all parents and friends of Nendrum College for their continued support and generosity. Signed on behalf of the trustees: Mrs Lisa Field (Chairperson)
