BANBRIDGE INDEPENDENT METHODIST CHURCH

REG. CHARITY NO. NIC 102812

The trustees present their Annual report of the charity for the year ended 31[st] December 2020.

PURPOSE

The main purpose of Banbridge Independent Methodist Church is the advancement of the Christian faith according to Biblical principles.

MINISTRY

In setting our objectives and planning our activities for the year the trustees have given careful consideration to the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland’s guidance on public benefit to ensure that the activities have helped to achieve the charity’s purpose and provide a benefit to the beneficiaries.

The Church continues to provide Opportunities for people to meet and worship God and learn Biblical teachings in the word of God ‘The Bible’ by conducting morning and evening services every Sunday. We encourage visitors and people not attending any other church to come along and support us. We also have a Mid- week Bible study and prayer meeting on a Thursday night which took place throughout 2020.

We have activities aimed at teaching young people about the Christian faith throughout the year which included Sunday school, on a Friday nights September – march we have the ‘One way club’ which attracts 25 children and Ignite youth fellowship which has 20 children attending, then in August we have our Holiday Bible Club which had 80+ children in attendance over the week.
