## TRUSTEES’ REPORT 

The trustees present their Trustees’ Report prepared in accordance with Charities SORP and the audited financial statements for the year ended 31° March 202S5also prepared in accordance with the aforementioned Statement of recommended practice and FRS. Trustees: The trustees who served during the year are as follows: Thomas Collins Maud Steele Iris Jones Objectives and Activities: The objectives of the Charity are: to advance education, improve health and welibeing and to provide facilities in the interest of social welfare for recreation or other leisure-time occupations, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the inhabitants of Kilrea and surrounding areas. 

Achievements and Performance: During our walking season Apri! 2024 to September 2024 there were 20 outings to many local places, which enabled participants to visit some places they had not been for a long time, as well as providing healthy exercise, with distances walked 2 — 4 miles each night. This year we had 36 people on our register with average attendance of 16 over the season. Visits of particular interest were: A guided historic tour of Rasharkin..We also had a memorable outing to Drumnaph forest.. There were opportunities to socialise with others after the walks, (tea and coffee being provided by members of the group) either at their own houses or as a picnic. Financial Review.We have had NO income, as members provided their own transport to the walks. We have no assets except our bank account and no liabilities. Structure, Governance and Management: 

Governing document Kilrea Development Committee/Wednesday Walkers is a registered Charity and is governed by the terms of its constitution, which was adopted by the membership on1stJan 2016. Management Committee: The objectives and activities of the charity are administered by not less than 3 members of the association aged 18 years or over and who are elected at the Annual General meeting(with at least 6 members present)The Management Committee meet at least 4 times each year. # WEDNESDAY WALKERS AGM 10 th April 2024 Venue : Memory Lane tea rooms, Kilrea at 8pm. Present: 22 members of the walking club Present post holders 

Chairperson Tommy Collins Secretary: Maud Steele Treasurer: Iris Jones. 

Tommy welcomed all present. The secretary’s report was given by Maud Steele 

The treasurer’s report was given by Iris Jones who Informed us that we had no income and no expenses And the only change to our bank account was the bank charges which had been deducted. 

All offices were then declared vacant and proposals invited for each of these posts. Jean McKay suggested that the three present post holders should be elected en bloc. There was unanimous approval for this suggestion from the members 

Tommy thanked the members for their vote of confidence and since the secretary and Treasurer agreed to continue to look after the affairs of the walking club for another year,they were declared duly elected.He encouraged everyone to keep coming each week to bring along their friends.
