The charity was not active during this period. This was partly due to the delays in life returning to
norn]al post-covid, but also the serious illness of one of the Trustees, Ivan Herbison, from summer
2023.
It is hoped that, fresh funds having been made available to the charity last year, it will be possible to
develop a strategy for the steady disbursement of the present balance by way of assistance for
appropriate research an(Vor competitive essay awards. To this end an early meeting of Trustees is
planned.
