Re ort Camowen Outreach is an non membership organisation which has been set up to help the rural community in the Camowen district of Omagh. Meetings and activities are held in Edenderry Parish Church Hall, 87 Crevenagh Road, Omagh. The group helps the local community by applying for funding to organise community events to help with social isolation and exclusion in the surrounding rural area. The activities which took place over the period January to December 2024 were as follows: We received funding from DAERA to cover expenses paid out for a gas BBQ and a laptop. grant funding from FODC to cover rent ofthe hall. We supported an Afternoon Tea Community Fundraiser in December to raise funds for our local church and the charity SANDS. We have another grant to be processed but no funds have been received yet and the work has not been carried out. all other grants have been received to dale and fully paid out again. We re￿iVed funding from FODC to help with running costs, we also received funding from DAERA to purchase a laptop for use by the group and lo purchase a gas BBQ to help us cater for our own functions and help keep our cosls down. We have also received funding from a local Windmill to replace a set of double doors in the hall to make it more energy efficient. The funding which we receive enables us to deliver a seNice to our community at a reduced rate and pay Ihe rent for our premises. Independent exarniner's report to the trustees of Camowen Outreach I report on the accounts of the Charity for the year ended 31 December 2024, which are set out on page Respective responsibilities of trustees and examiner As the charity's trustees you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the Charities Act (Northern Ireland) 2008. It is my responsibility to: examine the accounts under section 65 of the Charities Act to follow the procedures laid down in the general Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 65(9){b) of the Charities Act to state whether particular matters have come to my attention. Basis of independent examiner's report I have examined the Charitys accounts as required under section 65 of the Charities Act and my examination was carried out in accordance with the general Directions given by the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland under section 65{9)(b) of the Charities Act. My examination included a review of the accounting records kept by the Charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also included consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanations from you as charity trustees concerning any such matters. My role is to state whether any material matters have come to my attention giving me cause to believe.. 1. That accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 63 of the Charities Act 2. That the accounts do not accord with those accounting records 3. That the accounts do not comply with the accounting requirements of the Charities Act 4. That there is further information needed for a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
