Re ort Camowen Outreach is an non membership organisation whi¢h has been set up to help the rural community in the Camowen dislricl of Omagh. Meetings and activities are held in Edenderry Parish Church Hall, 87 Crevenagh Road, Omagh. The group helps the local community by applying for funding to organise community events to help with social isolation and exclusion in the surrounding rural area. The activities which took pla over the period January to December 2022 were as follows= we received the funding in from DAERA to cover the expenses paid out for the sound system, we had a Jubilee Celebration to celebrate the Queens Platinum Jubilee,we held an Ulster-scots Christmas Celebration and we also submitted an application through DAERA again to purchase more folding tables and a hoover. The items were paid for but we are just awaiting the funds coming back in again. We received funding from FODC to help with running costs. Dalradian, Asda for a Jubilee Celebration and Ulster-scots Agency to run an Ulster-scots Christmas Celebration and funding from DAERA to purchase more folding tables and a hoover. We are very grateful for the funding which we receive as this enables us to deliver a service to our community at a reduced rate and pay the rent for our premises. We also had a small draw at Christmas to raise funds for our Christmas Celebratuion.
