In setting our objectives and planning our activities for the year the trustees have given careful
consideration lo the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland's guidance on public benefit to
ensure that the a¢tivilies have helped io achieve the charity's purrK)ses and provide a ben¢fil to
the beneficiari¢s.
Principal A¢¢ivities
Dungannon Sub Aqua Club is an all-inclusive amat¢ur sports club incorporating a
search and rewvery rescue unit. governed by the Irish Underwater Council (CFT).
The Club was established to:.
Promote, facilitate and supp)rt the improvement of fitness levels of our members.
Support the development of new skills such as scuba divin8J snorkeling and first aid.
while encouraging awareness and respect for the 4uatic environment.

Provide vilal assislance to the Civil Authorities on the rescue and recovery of missing
persons.
Assisi in the protection and preservation of the marine environment including the
management of regular coastline cleanup operations.
Provide assistance to Sea Search Ireland which is actively involved in the 108ging,
identification and preservalion of ail n)arine life.
Educate youth groups from socially and fuw]ciaUy deprived backgrounds by offering
pro8rnms, enabling them take part in s￿rt while improving filness and Social skills.
Th¢ Club's objectives for the 2025 year were to continue to encourage member
progression through the various diving grades with the p)ssibility of achieving
instruclor level. We also encouraged our new members to become involved in search
and rescue and take part in training exercises. In the 2026 year. we hope to continue to
encourage member progression through the various divin8 grades and become
involved in water based environmentsl issues.
We again successfully fulfilled the minimum search and rescue exercises &8 required
by our governing body the Irish underwa￿ Council (CFD to remain on their Search
and Recovery register.
Financial Review
The Trustees have a procedure in place io revlew the accourAts annually.
The charity's accounts will be prwed ¢8¢h year 10 31 August. These accounts cover the year
to 31 August 2025 and r¢veal a surplus of£i,926
Risk Management
The Trustees are aware of the risks to which the cftwity may be exposed. A fom]al risk
&ss¢ssmenl process and strategies for dealing with Identifi￿ risk areas is being formalised.
