June 2018
Following our A.G.M in May 2018 our group continued with various activities including our
walking group and exercise classes.
Jul 2018
We hosted our "Park and Play" on various days over the course of the school summer
holidays.
Ortober 2018
We organised a bus trip to the Ulster American Folk Park for childrenl adults as part of our
Halloween celebrations. The group covered all costs for this wonderful event.
November 2018
We continued with our walking group and exercise classes. These classes were alternated
between two personal trainers.
December 2018
We hosted our Annual Christmas light switch on and party, which included a visit to santa's
grotto and each child received a selection box. The residents of the village enjoyed a tea
party and live DI which they all enjoyed. We provided Kid2 Farm and Frosty the snowman
and The Grinch mascots as entertainment. Our annual prize draw took place on the night,
We took our Senior Citizens to our local hotel for a Christmas dinner dance and provided
entertainment. We were also a part of the launch of the Peace IV project in
Newtownstewart Ilbrary.
Janua
2019
We held a meeting in our hall to discuss Peace IV funding which is currently ongoing in our
area and other local areas. We linked up with the other areas and called ourselves the "Flve
Bridges Project" This is to be a heritage/history projert involving five local villages. We had
our Jo Jingles events for toddlers and their parent5 from our village and surroundlng areas.

Committee members attended Safe Guarding training. Met with Supporting Communities Nl
and completed a survey and had excellent feedback on our good governance etc,
March 2019
We began our fitst 'Stay and Play, session, which continues every week. Some of our
committee members sit on various other groups/panels, one of which is Rural Housing
Tenant Panel for Omagh and distritt. We were able to take tenant's maintenance is51Je5 to
panel and Successfully lobbied for kitchen replacements in the village, which will take place
between September and October. We had Jo Jingles back in our hall, which again, was very
well received.

We held our first "Messy Plav, session for toddlers which catered for a group of 25 children.
This was very enjoyable and successful. We had our Annual Easter Event. We welcomed 70
children and adults. We had an Easter Bonnet competition, which is always very competitive
with both adults and children. We had a visit from the Easter Bunny who gave each child an
Easter egg. Kidz Farm 3150 attended, they are always a big hit with both adults and children
alike.
June 2019
We held another few "Messy Play" sessions for toddlers. We had further meetings linking
up with other groups regarding Peace IV project.

U5t 2019
We facilltated Park and Play sessions throughout the School summer holidays. We also
welcomed parents and children from Knockavoe Special needs School and had a vislt from
Mary's Ark Micro Zoo. We facilitated a very well attended coffee mornlng in memory of
local resident who passed away with proceeds going to two very well deserving charities.
Over 200 people came through our doors for this event.

We met with Rural Housing Association to discuss possible funding to provide activities for
both their tenants and non tenants in our vlllage. We have been contacted by Barnardo's
Life Start about bringing the SOOC Ishaplng Ourselves and Our Children) Programme. This
will cater for children, parents, grandparent5 and carers. Our"Stay and Play" has
commenced again after the summer bre3k, this takes place every Tuesday. Up and coming
event5 include, Halloween party, Christmas Light 5Wltch on, senlor citizen5 dinner dance.
Talks are on going to provlde arts and Crafts and mindfulnes5 sessions.
Our hall continues to be hired for birthday parties etc. Our members also engage with other
interagencies to bring to the table various concerns from residents. We have also lobbied
council and are delighted to say we will have large Christmas Ilghts on ten poles throughout
the village. Work also continue5 in our green area, which 15 planted out to accommodate
each season.
