Statement of the Trustees
The trustees of Agape Fellowship Church are pleased to submit their report and accounts for the period April 1[st] 2022 to March 31[st] 2023.
Activities and Achievements
The Year in Numbers
After the government restrictions the different children’s work had been restarted. These ministries have been well attended by children from ages 4 to 16 years old.

50+ years of advancement of the Christian Faith through Mission, Discipleship, Fellowship, Teaching, and Works of Compassion.

The Mums and Toddlers has now been restarted and has taken off with roughly 37 toddlers in attendance.
Meeting Programme
The Trustees usually meet at least once a year with the Church leaders. A belated Trustees meeting was held on Wednesday 4 March 2023 to sign off these delayed Accounts and Annual Report.
The Church has an Annual General Meeting (AGM) in March of each year, but this is postponed due to concerns over COVID reinfections. It is planned to have one retrospectively now that Trustees have met.
Community Access and Outreach Events
The Fellowship continues to support various missions and ministries.
Summer 2023 – The 5-day club (Holiday Bible Club) restarted again and held in August 2023 with maximum of 50-60 toddlers and then their parents.
Church Meetings
Weekly family worship and Sunday school. Family days on the first Sunday of each month is a good time for fellowship and encouragement.
Prayer Meetings on each Monday evening, Wednesday morning and Friday morning.
The regular meetings for Friday and Saturday night clubs are back running as per norm after COVID.
There are Women’s’ Meetings on the first Monday of each month and two Women’s Fellowship Days each year, when family members and friends are also invited to come along.
Members of the Public Served
School terms clubs on Friday and Saturday nights, Mums and toddlers on a Tuesday morning and Annual 5-day Summer (Holiday Bible Club) club.
Financial Performance
There is currently over £66K in the bank. There is ongoing maintenance on the church property as and when required. There is no mortgage on the church property.
Income
The church receives income from its members from free-will offerings.
Expenditure
The maintenance and upkeep of the church building and supporting various missions and ministries.
Gifts
The Church gives monetary gifts to missions and ministries in UK, Ireland, and the World.
Major Risks
The Church is in a good financial position with a surplus and no debts.

Trustee Selection and Management
The Charity is managed by those in the Trustees and additional or replacement Trustees are appointed by the Trustees.
There are a meeting of the Trustees and Church leaders on an annual basis or adhoc in the event of any emergency called by either the Trustees or Church leadership.
The Trustees contribute to the governance of the church, without financial reward.

The advancement of the Christian Faith through Mission, Discipleship, Fellowship, Teaching, and Works of Compassion.
Public Benefit Statement
The trustees of Agape Fellowship Church confirm they have complied with their duty under section 17(5) of the Charities Act 2011 with regard to the Charity Commission’s guidance on public benefit and that has informed the activities of the charity in the year to March 31[st] , 2023
The membership of the charity is open to all whom share the Christian Faith and agree to the charity’s Statement of Faith. The programme of meetings is advertised and open to the public to attend at any time. There is disabled access to all ground floor rooms.
Summary of Main Activities
The core activities of the charity are:

The Friday club – This club welcomes ages P1 to Age 11 throughout termtime and provides a safe and fun atmosphere for our children. Our club involves activities such as games, quizzes, crafts, and provides children with Bible teaching and mission stories with the aim of making the person of Jesus Christ a reality and significant part of their daily lives Club.

Saturday Night Club - The ALIVE Saturday Night Club is for ages from 11+ and also runs during term-time. The Saturday Night Club involves activities aimed at the 11+ age group. It has the same aim as the Friday Night Club: to make the person of Jesus Christ a reality and significant part of their daily lives.
Conclusion
The accounts have been independently examined by a Chartered Accountant who is also a registered auditor. This report is attached to the financial accounts.
