There were several leaks In the roof and we were concerned that wlth electrlcal appllances, thls was a major health and safety Issue and was not safe for our young people to use. The prlmary school In Ballymartln has been closed slnce June 2018 and the local communlty are currently communlcatlng wlth the Trustee5 of St Macnlssls, Trust tryln8 to secure a lease for a Communlty Centre In the vlllage. Thls has been agreed In prlnclple and the lease Is currently wlth the Sollcltors flnallslng the detalls, The Youth Club are currently holdlng meetings and the plan Is that when the lease is secured, the Youth Club wlll re-commence In the old school.
