## Activities

**Purposes:** The Charity&#x27;s objects are specifically restricted to the following:-  1 To promote community development for the benefit of the public by:   (a) providing advice, support, representation and practical assistance through developmental schemes and programmes particularly, but not exclusively, to that part of the community and voluntary sector in the island of Ireland concerned with the provision of youth clubs, groups and projects;   (b) fostering and assisting the formation of new youth groups, clubs and projects;   (c) arranging conferences and events for clubs and organisations interested in the welfare and development of young people;   (d) raising awareness and stimulating interest in youth work among the public.   (2) To create, initiate and deliver education and training programmes:   (a) for and with young people to enable them to realise their full potential, enjoy their youth, participate at all levels in the Charity and contribute as citizens and responsible members of a fair and inclusive society;   (b) for youth workers, volunteers and those responsible for the governance of organisations involved in youth provision.   (3) To provide and maintain a Forum where members can join together to find mutual support, exchange views, share common issues and information, create a collective voice for the youth provision sector, form links and co-operate to achieve their aims and represent the opinions of young people.   (4) To promote good community relations, social justice, religious and racial harmony, equality and diversity and to advocate for the protection, rights and entitlements of young people and those who work on their behalf.
