**Purposes:** The association is established to develop and support a spirit of community throughout Antrim, primarily through the annual festival.  The festival will encourage all age groups, faiths, local groups and charities to join together to celebrate and develop the diverse communities within Antrim and to promote the benefit of the inhabitants of the Antrim Town area, (hereinafter called the “beneficiaries”) and its environs in County Antrim (hereinafter called the ‘area of benefit’) without distinction of age, gender, disability, sexual orientation, nationality, ethnic identity, class, marital status, political or religious opinion, by associating the statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and the inhabitants in a common effort to protect, preserve, and enhance the amenities of the area of benefit, and through encouraging active community participation to improve the conditions of life of the said inhabitants.
