The name of the playgroup is Sunflower Early Years Playgroup which is also known as Sunflower Playgroup.

## **Charitable Purposes** 

This cross community group is established to advance educa�on in children from 2 years 10 months up to 4 years old in the Fintona and surrounding areas, this will be done through planned play to help support the children’s learning. We will enhance the educa�on and development of the children without dis�nc�on  of sex, race of poli�cal, religious or other opinions and so that their condi�ons of life may be improved. 

## **Main ac�vi�es during the year** 

and pre pre-school educa�on for children below the compulsory school age. We have provided a high standard of childcare at an affordable price to enable all families to avail. 

## **Main achievements in the year** 

We provided a high standard of care and educa�on for a large number of children from the local and surrounding community without prejudice. This has enhanced the lives of many and enabled them access to learn through play hence giving them a good founda�on for lifelong learning. We achieved high standards for all children and were able to iden�fy children with special or addi�onal needs and make referrals to outside agencies allowing them access to appropriate services to ensure they received the same start to their educa�on as those more abled bodied children. 

## **Cons�tu�on** 

The cons�tu�on was set out on 9[th] January 2013 and reviewed each year, it set out membership/subscrip�on and management policies as well as powers of the commi�ee and the conduc�on of mee�ngs. Vo�ng powers and rules of procedure have been set out as well as role of the treasurer within the group. Finally, altera�ons to the cons�tu�on and dissolu�on procedures are set out. The current cons�tu�on I held on file by the Charity Commission.

Our Trustee/commi�ee members who were elected for this year are: Chairperson- Kara Sloane, Vice Chairperson- Shauna McQuaid Treasurer- Kaja Szewczyh  vice- Treasurer- Lauren Murphy and Secretary- Donna Henry 

No unauthorised person is to appoint trustees. 

## **Financial posi�on** 

that the deposit account balance was to be maintained at a level of £14,000 - £15,000 which ensures that core ac�vity of Sunflower Early Years Playgroup could con�nue during a period of unforeseen difficulty.  Our Financial posi�on and income and out goings are reviewed at all our commi�ee mee�ngs.
