I report on the accounts on Headway Ireland for the year ended 31st December
2025. which are set out on the following page.
As the charitys trustees we are responsible for the preparation of the accounts
in accordance with the Charities Art (Northern Irejand) 2008. It is theAuditorfs
responsibility to:
Examine the accounts under section 65 of the Charities ACL
Follow the procedures laid down in the general directions givens by the
Commission under section 65(9)0)) of the Charities ACL
State whether particular matters have come to myattention. Basis of
independent examinerfs report
He will examine our account as required under section 65 of the Charities Art
and my examination was carried out in accordance with the general
directions given by the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland under
section 65(9)(b) of the Charities ACL
His examination included a review of the accounting Tecords keptby us and a
comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also included
consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and
seeking explanations from you as charity trnstees concerning anysuch
matter&
His role is to state whetherany material matters have come to his attention
and give him cause to believe..
l. That accounting records were not kept in accordance with sertion 63 of
the Charities ACL
2. That the accounts do not accord with those accounting records.
3. That the accouDts do not comply with the accounting requirements of the
CharitiesAcL
4. That there is ￿rther inforn]ation needed for a proper understanding of
the accounts to be reached CCNI ARR07 - supporting document 5th
August 2016.
