I} PERSONNEL
All were shocked at the sudden home call of our treasurer and former chair. the Rev Andrew
Boucher. His commitment to Headway was outstanding and we continue to uphold his wife
and family in our prayers. Andrew Glbson has agreed to act as treasurer in his place.
2) GRowfH.
During the year, Headway held 3 gatherings in Ballinamallard, Co Fermana8h, Ballineen, Co
Cork and Cranagilll, Co Armagh. Thi5 gave us the opportunity to share with those attending
what Headway stands for and answer questions. All We￿ well supported and as a result.
new members gained. It is our intention that these will continue in the year ahead as we
seek to share with more people and encourage all in their walk with Jesus. The Rev Jeremy
Nicoll currently stationed in West Cork joined the executive as Headway continues to
expand.
During the year Headway members met w¢th committee members from similar 8roups
within the Presbyterian Church in I￿land and the Church of Ireland. All present agreed
these were useful gatherings enabling everyone to understand that the same issues
confront every denomination in Ireland. It was agreed we should meet again, pray for each
other and perhaps hold joint gatherings together.
3) SPRING GATHERING.
Dr Stephen Skuce, the Church Grov4th Officer for the Methodist Church in Ireland shared
with us about encoura8in8 the Methodist Church to grow. We were truly blessed by his
presentation.
4) PRAYEIL
Durin8 the year, Headway has continued to hold regular prayer meetings on zoom. This is in
keeping With our founding documents and our beliefs that the head of the Church is Jesus
Christ and as Methodists we seek His mind and will for the future. The attendances have
been encouraging and we hope that members will continue to join us on zoom at the
forthcoming prayer times. We hold to the old saying: Much prayer - much blessing, little
prayer = little blessing and no prayer= no blessing.
