Public Benefit
The club was formed in 21X)5. The Charity meets the needs of older people. aged 65 and
over in the surrounding rural areas.
It gives relief to those in need by reason of age. ill health, disability. financial hardship or
other disadvantsges.
The Boveedy Springwell Club does this through various activities. advice, information.
rural development and relief of poverty.
There is a programme of events each y8ar and during 2023-2024 the older people
benefited by attending:
Regular outings and trips
PCSP speakers
EntertainTnent
Health speakers
Cookery demonstration to promote healthy living.
Springweu club rneet in Boveedy Community Hall on the 1* Thursday of each month
except for July and August.

We commenced the yearwith funds of £2.260.90. The club received fundingfrom a
variety of bodies during the yearto help run events and outings. Membership fees also
assisted in raisingfunds. Closing funds were £9.883.63.
Aside from cash in hand. the club holds no assets nor are there any outstanding
liabilities.
