**PTA Chair Annual Report 2022-2023** 

**The PTA had another successful year even though we are still feeling the effects of covid. We are also feeling the effects of the cost of living crisis and as a result there is less disposal income within households We knew that funding opportunities would be fewer this year but we still managed to raise over £4300. We received funding from the NI Policing Board to help our wrap around care within school. We also received funding from Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council to fund our coronation party.** 

**Events of last year included pyjama party, helping with open day, Christmas Fair, story with Santa, Christmas class party, Christmas raffle, football coaching with Joel from Northern Ireland Ireland football team, Tuck shop, Santa’s Grotto, Principal for the day, Mother’s day shop, Easter bunny raffle, Spring Disco, Antrim Festival parade, Summer fair, Kings coronation party, tea and coffee for P1 inductions.** 

**All in all, it's been a good year and I would like to thank each and everyone of you for the support you have given both the PTA and the school over the past year. Please know that you are very much appreciated. Without you there would be no PTA I look forward to the year ahead with you all thank you.** 

## **Treasurer Report 2022-2023** 

**Our opening balance was £5359.83. Between fundraising, funding opportunities, interest and Amazon smile we lodged £8716.24. Our expenses were £10,850.58. Leaving us with a balance of £3225.49.**
