Support Group, Charity No. 102604 Annual Report & Statement of Accounts th 1"July 2023 until 30 June 2024 Prepared by: Nigel Hampton- Trustee Overview In this, our seventh Annual Tru5tees' reporting period, the group had fresh impetus and enthusiasm with many new parents joining the group who helped organise 7 fundraising activities/ events throughout the year. The Parent Support Group would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the parents and local businesses for their incredible generosity and support. Your contributions, whether through time, resources, or donations, have made a significant impact on our efforts to enrich the school community and enhance the experiences of our children. We truly appreciate your commitment and partnership, and we look forward to continuing this meaningful work together. The group's objective is to organise a range of events that would bring parents, children and members of the local community together to have fun, foster relationships and raise much-needed funds for play and ICT equipment for the school. The events organised had something for everyone, providing social platforms to promote the school, the school family and importantly helping to raise awareness of the work of the PSG in striving to enhance the quality of school life by providing state-of-the-art equipment and teaching aids. Fundraising activities & Events Milkshakes sold at Sport's Day raised £162.75 Fireside quiz sheets completed by family and friends raised £185.00 A Christmasjumper swap raised £172.00 A Movie night raise £386,00 The Christmas raffle raised £1,870.86 A Bingo night raised £950.96 Christmas Card sales £4.00 Textiles donations to the textile bank raised £64.00 Summary As is shown in our annual accounts, our opening balance for the year was £1,602.69. Funds raised this year amounted to £3,795.57. Expenditure through donations and costs associated with organising the events came to £2,376.90, leaving a closing balance of £3,039.26.
