BallykeelTogether Development Association is established forthe advancement of the community development and active citizenship for the public benefit of the inhabitants of the Ballykeel ward. Activities and Perforniance In setting our objectives and planning our activities forthe year the trustees have given careful consideration to the Charity Commission Nl's guidance on public benefit to ensure that the activities have helped to achieve the charity's purposes and provide a beneftt to the beneficiaries. We run our monthly Luncheon Club where we were able to put on activities such as arm chair aerobics and singing. We heLd our annual Christmas Dinner. Our Bright Stars Youth Club was well attended during the year and we took the children horse riding to Sheans Horse Farm, Armoy. We held a Children's party and enjoyecl severaltrips duringthe year. FlnAnoiaL Reyiffjy Durlng the yearwe secured fundlngfrom the Departmeni for Communities, John Moores Foundation, Mid and East Antrim Council and the Carson Project. We also received a donation totalling £70.57. Ourtotal receipts forthe year amounted to £9.565.97. We made payments in total to the value of £13,771.50, leaving us with a bank b81ance at the 31 March 2025 of £4,263.01. Page 3

R8spective responsibilities of Trustees and Examiner As the charity's trustees you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the Charities Act (Nl} 2008. It is my responsibility to: examine the accounts under section 65 of the Charities Act to follow the procedures Laid down in the generaL directions given by the Charity Commission under section 65 {9)(b) of the Charities Act state whether particular matters have come to my attention Basls of Independent Examlner's statement I have examined your charity accounts as required under section 65 of the Charities Act and an examination was carried out in accordance with the general directions given by the Charity Commission Nl under section 65 (9}(b) of the Charities Act. Concern The charitable activities are entirely dependent on the continuation of grant aid and voluntary donations, as well as trading revenues. As a consequence, the going concern basis is dependent on the future flow of these uncertain funding streams. Accordingly. the Trustees, after reviewing the financial forecasts for future periods are satisfied that. at the time of approving the financial statements. it is appropriate in adopt the going concern basis in preparing the financial statements. Otherthan these matters, the Tiustees are not aware of any material uncertainties about the Charity's ability to continue as a going concern. nt Unrestricted funds are available for use at the discretion of the Trustees in furtherance of the general objectives of the Charity. Restricted fund5 are subjected io restrictions on their expenditure imposed bythe donor or through the terms of an appeal or as implied by law. The Trustees considerth8t the charity satisfles the test set out in Paragraph 1 Schedule 6 of the Flnance Act 2010 for UK corporation tax purposes. Accordingly, the Charity is potentially exempt from taxation in respect of income or capital gains received. If upon dissolution of tho Charitythere remains any assets, after satisfaction of all debts and liabilities, the assets represented bythe accumulated fund shall be transferred to some other charitable body or bodies whom have similar objectives to the Charity.
