**Purposes:** The Charity's objects ("the Objects") are:  (a) To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Turf Lodge and surrounding areas  ("the area of benefit"), without distinction of sex, race, political, religious or  other opinions by:-  (i) the advancement of education by, in particular for the long-term  unemployment, the provision of training in occupational skills and work  experience for periods in each case not exceeding (except in exceptional  circumstances) 2 years; and  (ii) the provisions of facilities in the interests of social welfare for  recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the  conditions of life of the said inhabitants.  (b) To promote such other charitable purposes as may from time to time be determined.
