Treasurer Report

Caroline Douglas – 14 April 2026

Our Current Account Status

  1. TACA’s accounts were audited in March 2026 and received a clean bill of health.

  2. At year end cash in bank was £6,108.34 however some of these funds are in reserve and so TACA has £5,547.18 cash at present. This is virtually unchanged from last year’s balance.

  3. The following grants were received for projects in Templepatrick:

  4. Community Lottery Grant

  5. Christmas Light Up Grant

  6. Enkalon Grant for Health Fair

  7. ANBC Health Fair Grant

  8. Rabbit Grant

We did not receive a Speed indicator grant.

  1. The generous community lottery grant allowed TACA to again provide a community picnic which unfortunately was less well attended due to terrible weather. Therefore, the picnic ran at a small loss.

  2. The above healthy cash position means that TACA can afford the spend for the June picnic event and also the October Health Fair.

Bouncy Castles etc £1000 First Aid £250 Brass band £750 Marquee with flooring £1200 (2 x marquees and chairs) Games £300 Balloon Modelling £200 Miscellaneous £200

  1. Little Library – we were able to use a small amount of funds to build a little library for the Park.

  2. Health Fair – this was an incredibly successful event, and we plan to run this again in October.

  3. Christmas Light Up – TACA arranged the hire of Santa this year. We managed to come in nearly exactly on budget (small loss) with the help of the Eurospar, The Rabbit and The Hilton. The local church provided some lovely choir singers.
