Our Current Account Status

TACA’s accounts were audited in March 2025 and received a clean bill of health.

At year end cash in bank was £6,093.65 however some of these funds are in reserve and so TACA has £5,532.49 cash at present. This is virtually unchanged from last year’s balance.

By receiving a generous grant for the Big Lunch event and also the additional funding from local businesses in sponsorship this generated extra income for the group which allowed the group to fund other initiatives such donations to charities and the purchase of a new speaker. We also ran two health events.

The above healthy cash position means that TACA can afford the spend for the June picnic event and also the October Health Fair– 2 grants have been applied for to cushion the anticipated costs and we have been successful in obtaining these.

Speed Indicator – as you’re aware we receive grant funding for the upkeep and maintenance for this device.

Christmas Light Up – TACA arranged the hire of Santa this year. We managed to come in nearly exactly on budget with the help of the Eurospar, The Rabbit and The Hilton. The local church provided some lovely choir singers.
