**Purposes:** The company's objects are:- (a) To secure for the public benefit by such means as are available the preservation, protection and improvement of: (i) the courtyard and stable block of Lissan House, Cookstown; and  (ii) of other parts of the Lissan estate insofar as they are owned by the Company, including Lissan House, its gardens, parkland and planned landscapes and any ancillary buildings; and  (iii) of other buildings or structures of national, historic, environmental, architectural, artistic, scientific or constructional importance, merit or interest or of particular beauty and the gardens, parkland and planned landscapes and estate directly related to them and any ancillary buildings in the Lissan district of Counties Tyrone and Londonderry (b) To stimulate and educate public interest therein and to foster, undertake and support research into any aspect of the objects of the Company and disseminate the useful results of such research.
