Actlvltlas
Because of the unsustainable dependence on volunteering-input from many generous contributors. including
photographic galleries over the past eleven years, a decision was reluctantly taken by th? Trustees to cease
the activilies of the Jill Todd Photographic Award.
However, the Ulster University award for the best end-of-course photography student, initiated and activated
by Ihe Jill Todd Trust, still continues and will do for the foreseeable future.
Meanwhile, other activrties which address the accredited objectives of the Jill Todd Trust conlinue.
Th&$& are as follows..
Ask an Architect An annual event where architects throughout Northern Ireland give one-hour
consultations to 8nquiring public participants for a donation of £40 which is then forwarded to the
Friend5 oflhe Cancer Centre and hence to the Centre for Cancer Research and Cell Biology at the City
Hospilal, Belfast. To avoid having io pay fees to online-event facilitators a.g. Evenlbrit8, and therefore
maximise r8v8nue raised, donations made are channelled via co-organi5ers, the Royal Society of Ulsler
Architects, directly to the Friends of the Cancer cent￿ as opposed to being. as previously was the
case. through the Jill Todd Trust.
Free Will - Good will An annual event where Hillsborough 301icitors, Thompson Mitchell, prepare
'wills' in turn for a donation to the Jill Todd Trust, all funds thus raised being forwarded to the Friends
of the Cancer Centre and hence to Centre for Cancer Research and Cell Biology at the City Hospital.
