Tull allen Silver Band CCNI. 102548 Trustees Annual Re ort ear endin 31°Au ust2023 The band is governed and managed by the committee of Tullyvallen Silver Band in accordance with the band's constitution. During the year ending 31 August 2023, the band continued to pursue its aim of promoting brass band music to fulfil its public benefit obligations. st The band practices weekly throughout the year,rehearsing for events and further advancing the ability and skills of band members through studying and practicing new pieces of music. The band committee is pleased that some members have successf ully moved to other sections of the band in order to maintain a balance across the various parts.Band instruments continue to be kept in good repair. The band took part in an extensive range of events including concerts, church services, parades and performing for charitable organizations such as the Royal British Legion, and Royal Black Institution. The band appreciates the support it continues to receive from these organisations and the wider public.Any donations received for such engagements are voluntary. These events give the general public the opportunity to listen to, enjoy and appreciate the wide repertoire of brass band music, helping to improve both the cultural and social wellbeing of those who attend.
