Report of the Trustees of CHS PTFA th The trustees present their annual report and financial statement for the year ending 30 August 2023. Organisational Structure Cookstown High School Parents, Friends and Teachers Association ICHS PTFA) is a charity which is administered by a committee of trustees elected at our Annual General meeting and is governed by its constitution. PTFA members are made up from parent and teacher representatives who meet regularly during term time to discuss matters relating to our core objectives. The CHS PTFA is registered with the Charities commission for Northern Ireland and is required by law to submit its annual report and accounts to the Commission each year. th The accounts for the year ending 30 August 2023 have been prepared on a receipts and payments basis and independently examined, in line with the requirements of The Charities Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2015. Purpose and Objective The CHS PTFA is a group of dedicated parents, teachers and friends who work alongside the school to provide additional resources to support staff and pupils by developing effective relationships within the school engaging in activities and providing facilities or eq uipment which supports the school and advances the education of pupils. Activities for School Year 2022123 2022/23 was a quiet year for the PTFA due to a restructuring of the Association which will enable more events to be organised next year. The majority of the Schools Support Fund was collected in September/October 2022 and generated a total income of £10,875. The Santa Dash was organised by the PTFA in December 2022. This raised a grand total of £1,980 less expenses of £464.71.
