The principal function of St. Columba's Parish Church, Knock is to SUPPOrt the advancement of the Christian religion by promotln through its worl the whole mission of the Churchi Pastoral, evangellstlc, soclal and ecumenical. Being open to and engaging with society as a whole and offèring support for those needing help are fundamental to the practical delivery of the benefits of Chrlstlanity. As a result of actlvity In the pursuit of the advancement of the Christian religion, St. CoSumba's Parish Church. Knock ha5 Custody of property and of records, materials and artefacts of significance to cultural and religious heritage. The maintenance of these is managed by the Select Vestry of the Par15h. Achlevements, Performance & Public Beneflt The 2023 year has been one of great blessings for the p3ri5h with much enrichment for current and future generations. We have augmented the major church roof replacement prolect with replasterinB ènd repalntlng all of which adds to the warmth and welcoming nature of our church building. Over the course Df the year we have also undertaken a major remodeling of the front of the church whlch gives great flexSbllity and a space to enhance our choral traditlons. ThrouBhout the year, St Columba's Parish Church has continued to act as a beacon of hope. The Church Is maklng a difference to people's live5 in the Parish, the surrounding area and within the wSder world through prayer and donations by parishioner5 of time and thoney. The generosity and falthfulness of our parishioners has continued unabated, The year-end accounts show that giving has held up and that the Parlsh rem31ns In a strong financial posltlon. The Select Vestry members are the CharityTrustees. Recruitment and Appolntment of Selert Vestry (Trustees) All member5 of the Chtjrch of Ireland who are over the age of 18 and are elther resident wlthln the Parish or live elsewhere but have been accustomed members of the congregat>on for at least three month5. may register as member5 of the General Vestry of the Parish.
