Structure: Chung Do Kwan NI is aimed at developing the health, mental and physical wellbeing of our taekwondo participants though the teaching of martial arts. Chung Do Kwan is dedicated to the teaching and practice of Tae Kwon Do while also promoting the importance of exercise and general well-being in both children and adults.
Through hiring venues and recruitment via Social Media campaigns we are able to teach martial arts to groups of children and young people.
Trustees are members and coaches.
All activity ceased at the start of lockdown in March 2020. Classes restarted at St Mark’s Church in Newtownards in June 2022. The class is small, but growing, with a mix of former and newer students. The we currently have steady student numbers to cover the hall rent. Our intent is to try to expand club membership and grow the club.
