Activities

3.1 To provide year-round sports training and opportunities for competition for people with learning disabilities; giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in the sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community. 3.2 To assist people with learning disabilities to participate as productive and respected members of society at large by providing social and leisure opportunities for them and by helping to increase the public’s awareness of their capabilities and needs.
