Senior Christmas Dinner
Our senior citizens enjoyed a Christmas meal followed by entertainment, providing a wonderful opportunity to come together and share an enjoyable and memorable occasion.
Children’s Christmas party
Our annual Christmas party was held in the Legion Hall and was very well attended. Entertainment was provided, and Sania Claus made an appearance, much to the delight of the children.
Gardening Workshop
We provided residents with two gardening workshops in Gardiners Hall, where they learned how to plant containers, choose suitable plants for the season and local climate, and carry out basic plant care. The workshops also covered simple garden design ideas for small spaces, as well as plant maintenance and general upkeep. The sessions were enjoyed by everyone who attended.
Wreath Workshop
We provided residents with a wreath workshop in Gardiners Hall, where they learned a mix of creative and practical skills. These included how to construct a wreath base, select suitable seasonal foliage and decorative materials, and use techniques for arranging and securing greenery and decorations. The workshop also covered basic design principles, how to personalise a wreath with ribbons and ornaments, and tips for preserving and displaying the finished piece. The session was enjoyed by everyone who attended.
The Trustees have had due regard to the Commission's Public Benefit requirement, and no harm was caused in the provision of above activities.
