The trustees, who are also directors of the charity for the purposes of the Companies Act 2006, present their report with the
financial statements of the charity for the year ended 31 December 2022. The trustees have adopted the provisions of
Accounting and Reporting by Charities.. Statement of Recommended Practice applicable to charities preparlng their accounts
in accordance with the Finanaal Reporknng Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland (FRS 102) (effettive I
January 2019).
OBJECTIVES AND AcfivITIES
Objectives and aims
Our activities include the provision of day care facilities for disabled adults from the Clogher Valley area as well as short term
residential accommodation and shop units.
We organise fundralslng events to asslst with the development of the town and distritt of Aughnacloy.
FINANCIAL REVIEW
Reserves policy
The results for the year are set out in detail on page 4 onwards. The charity returned a net surplus of £25,964 for the year
ended 31 December 2023 (2022 - £10,723).
The charity does not maintain a formal reserves policy however the Board of Directors continue to monitor the level of
reserves held by the charity and are satisfied that these are adequate to meet any unforeseen expenditure incurred.

Governing document
The charity is controlled by its goveming document, a deed of trust, and constitutes a limited company, limited by
guarantee, as defined by the Companies Att 2006.

I report on the accounts of the company for the year ended 31 De￿mber 2023, whlch are set out on pages four to thlrteen.
Respective responsibilities of charity trustees and examiner
As the charity's tnjstees (and also the directors for the purposes of company law) you are responsible for the preparation of
the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Companies Act 2006.
Having satlsfied myself that the charity is not subjett to audit under company law and is eligible for Independent
examination, it Is my responsibllity to:
examine the accounts under Settion 65 of the Charities Act
follow the procedures laid down in the general Dlrections given by the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland
under Section 65(9)(b) of the Charities Att
stste whether particular matters have come to my attention.
Basis of the independent examiner's report
I have examined your charity accounts as required under Section 65 of the Charities Act and my examination was carried out
in accordance with the general Directions given by the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland under Section 65(9)(b) of
the Charities Act. The examination included a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the
accounts presented with those records. It also included consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts,
and seeking explanations from you as charity trustees concerning any such matters.
My role is to state whether any material matters have come to my attention giving me cause to believe..
That accounting records were not kept in accordance with Sertion 386 of the Companies Act 2006
That the accounts do not accord with those accounting records
That the accounts do not comply with the accounting requirements of Section 396 of the Companies Act 2006 and
with the methods and principles of the Charities Ststement of Recommended Practi￿ applicable to charities
preparing their accounts in accordance with the Flnancial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of
Ireland
That there is further information needed for a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.

The charitable company is entitled to exemption from audit under Section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 for the year ended
31 December 2023.
The members have not required the company to obtain an audit of its financial statements for the year ended
31 December 2023 in accordance with Secknon 476 of the Companies Act 2006.
The trustees acknowledge their responsibilities for
(a)
ensuring that the charitable company keeps accounting records that comply with Settions 386 and 387 of the
Companies Act 2006 and
preparing financial statements which give a true and fair vlew of the state of affairs of the charstable company as at
the end of each financial year and of its surplus or deficit for each financial year in accordance with the requirements
of Sections 394 and 395 and which otherwise comply with the requirements of the Companies Att 2006 relating to
financial statements, so far as applicable to the charitable company.

ACCOUNTING POLICIES
Basis of preparing the financial statements
The financial statements of the charitable company, which is a public benefit entity under FRS 102, have been
prepared in accordance with the Charitles SORP (FRS 102) 'Accounting and Reporting by Charities: Ststement of
Recommended Prattl￿ applicable to charities preparing their a￿ounts in accordan￿ with the Financial Reporting
standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland (FRS 102) (effective l January 2019),, Financial Reporting
Standard 102 The Flnancial Reporknng Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland, and the Companies Att
2006. The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention, as mc(lified by the
revaluation of certaln assets.
Income
All income is recognised in the Statement of Financial Attivities once the charity has entitlement to the funds, It Is
probable that the income will be received and the amount can be measured reliably.
Expenditure
Liabilities are recognised as expenditure as soon as there is a legal or construttive obligation committing the charity
to that expenditure, it is probable that a transfer of economic benefits will be required in settlement and the amount
of the obligation can be measured reliably. Expenditure is accounted for on an accruals basis and has been classified
under headings that aggregate all cost related to the category. Where costs cannot be direttly attributed to
particular headings they have been allocated to activities on a basis consistent with the use of resources.
Tangible fixed assets
Depreciation has been provided at the following rates in order to write off the assets over their estimated useful
lives:
Plant & Machinery
20% Reducing Balance
Plant and machinery are valued at cost. Freehold propety is carried at its revalued amount being its fair value at
the date of revaluation less any subsequent accumulated depreciation and subsequent accumulated impairment
losses.
Taxation
The charity is exempt from corporatlon tax on its charitsble activities.
Fund accounting
Unrestricted funds can be used in accordan￿ with the charitable objectives at the discretion of the trustees.
Restricted funds can only be used for partrcular restrtcted purposes within the objects of the charity. Restrictions
arise when specified by the donor or when funds are raised for particular restricted purposes.
