Dun8lven Celt5c Youth Football Club was set up wSth the alm of provldlng assoclatlon football to
children of varlous age Broups regardless of rellglon or elhnlc background. The club durlng Ihe year
had over slxteen dlfferent boys. and 8lrls' teams playlng on varlous Saturdays provldlng assoclatlon
football to over 350 chlldren.
The maln purpose of ourclub Is to Improve the general health and well beln8 of chlldren In our local
communlty by provldlng them wlth a fun enloyable 8ame that they can enjoy In a safe and
comfortable superylsed surroundlng whlch we provlded through out the season.
We also feel we achleved another purpose of helplng the chlldren to develop 5kllls on and off the
field of play throughout the season, skllls Ilke hand eye co-ordlnatlon, moblllty, thfowln8 and
catthln8 all skllls that can be transferred to other sports.
We also èchleved our purpose of Involvlng local schools and communlty groups when we helped the
local St Pairlcvs Hl8h School fleld an assoclatlon football team as It fielded In two different age
VOUPs In schoo15' compeiitlons.
We feel we have achleved our purpose of Involvlng chlldren from all aspects ol the communlty
fe8ardless ol rell8lon or ethnlcal back8round as we have varlous chlldren from dlfferent rell8lous
back4rounds representln8 our club.
Due fund ralsln8 and obtalnln8 grants our club had a surplus of £1,956.(Y) In the flscal year to 31.
