**Purposes:** The objects of the group shall be to: Advancement of peace and reconciliation for the benefit of the public and the promotion of religious harmony, equality and diversity between young people from different religious backgrounds in particular those from Catholic and Protestant backgrounds but not exclusively (the beneficiaries) living in socially and economically deprived areas in Belfast in particular.  •	Promote good relations •	Enhance relationship and partnership building •	Provide opportunities for the young people to engage in workshops/discussions to address cultural identity, diversity, sectarianism, racism, prejudice reduction, and symbolism. •	Facilitate better understandings of one another. •	Team building. •	Promote social, political and educational awareness •	Develop ways to manage difference. •	Promote peace •	Annual trip to Kansas City
