**Purposes:** The Charity’s objects (“Objects”) are specifically restricted to the following:-  To promote the benefit of the people of the village of Millisle and its environs (the “area of benefit”) without distinction of sex, race, political, religious or other opinion, by associating with the statutory authorities, voluntary and community organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to:  a)	Advance education; b)	Preserve and protect health, both mental and physical; c)	Provide and assist in the provision of facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and other leisure time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life of the people of the area of benefit; d)	Promote all or any objects for the benefit of the people of the area of benefit which now or hereafter may be deemed by law to be charitable.
