ANNUAL REPORT - 22123
The Chair, Sheena Mc Cooey, presented the Annual Report at
the AGM on February 26th 2024.
Sheena took the opportunity to deeply appreciate the collective
effort of our officers, members, funders, and individuals who have
been the driving force behind Skyzdalimit's success. Their
unwavering support, including that of James Martin, Kerri Quinn,
and Ryan Duff, has not only made our programme possible but also
significantly raised the group's profile.
The shows in Omagh and Belfast this year have not only been a
Sour￿ of joy for our members but have also significantly boosted
their confidence. Sheena highlighted the invaluable contribution of
Autism Nl, Mencap, Inclusion Ireland, Donegal Down's Syndrome
Group, and Fermanagh and Omagh District Council in making these
shows a reality.
The Suc￿sS of continuing to take the shows out of Omagh has
increased interest and membership. Current members, acting and
singing abilities have been honed and perfected over the years,
culminating in the 2022123 show.
The amount of support out of the hometown has been amazing, as
has the support of family and friends who travelled to the shows with
members. In conclusion, Sheena acknowledged again the
commitment of volunteers and our committee. The volunteers are
the backbone of the group. We have not yet updated our training
due to the absence of faCe-tO-fa￿ classes because of Covid, but

this will be done in 2024. Moving forward, we would like to raise the
profile of Skyzdalimit and inspira other musical theatre groups
throughout Ireland.
Regarding the financial situation, Sheena reported a healthy
balance of £18,740.84 and thanked the treasurer for his efforts and
fundraising abilities.
Looking forward, Sheena said our ambition to perform two shows in
Omagh and one in Londonderry in 2024 was ambitious. Still, given
the energy within the group, she was confident it would be achieved.
Finally, Sheena paid tribute to our Tutor, Pearse Mc Closkey, for his
dedication and expertise.
