2022
Our membership has remained static this year despite COVID -19 which is mainly thanks to the hard work put in by our Drama Director and volunteers, families and Committee members. Due to COVID -19 all activity was carried out by a mix of Zoom and in-person rehearsals.
In June we delivered two shows in the Omagh Arts Centre. In addition, we took the show on the Road and performed in the Helix in Dublin and the Waterfront Hall in Belfast. It was a great success in both and Belfast and provided fantastic confidence building to the cast. The Road shows were expensive but we have saved for a few years to do this and it was worth it; agreed by cast, parents and carers.
We are very proud of our club and members for their hard work done this year. Financially the Club is very sound and has accumulated over £20,000 in reserves and ready for next year. The group are also doing a show in Belfast in 2023 and this time it is in the MAC. Funding has been received from ‘Awards for All’ for 2023.
