Activities

The objects for which the Association is established are: a) To promote for public benefit the relief of poverty, sickness, old age, distress and disabled persons in Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, United Kingdom and throughout the world as the Trustees decide b) To promote and provide health services, including mental health services; addiction services; services for persons with a disability; centres, shelters and housing for the relief of homelessness; and services for the care of the elderly, by any charitable means the Trustees deem to be appropriate and necessary including making of grants to other charitable bodies, in Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, United Kingdom and throughout the world as the Trustees decide. c) To further the charitable purposes of any organisation within the Saint John of God Hospitaller Services Group PROVIDED THAT the objects are to be carried out in accordance with the values of Saint John of God Hospitaller Services Group as set out from time to time in Saint John of God Hospitaller Services Group’s Mission Statement and in accordance with the spiritual and ethical principles of Roman Catholic teaching and traditions as further defined in Article 4 below.
