**Purposes:** 1. To relieve in cases of need hardship or distress freemasons and the widows and other dependents of deceased freemasons principally within the Masonic Province of Londonderry and Donegal but also from time to time in their discretion, if desired, within the whole island or Ireland.  2. To provide financial assistance to other duly constituted Masonic Charities.  3. To provide financial assistance to any person or body for any “charitable purpose” as defined in article 2 of The Charities Act (Northern Ireland) 2008.
