As the c*artty trustees (and also the directors of the ￿rnpanY for the purposes of company law) you 8re
responsible for the preparation of the acuunts in accordan￿ with the requirements of the Companies Act
2006. Hawng satisffed myself that the charTty is not subject to audFt under company law. and is eligible for
independent examination, it is my responsibiity to:
examine the accounts under section 65 of the Charities Act,"
follow the procedures 18id down in the general Directions given by the Charity c￿n￿lssIon for
Northern Ireland under sectton 65(9)(b) of the Charities A¢ and
state wheth¥ particJJlar mattws have come lo my attentÉon.
Basis of independent examlnefs report
I have examined your charity ac￿Unts as required under section 65 of the Charittes Act and my exaFnination
was carried out in accordan￿ the generaI Directions given by the Charity Commission for Northem
Ireland under section 65{9){b) of the Charities Act. The examination induded a rewew of the accounting
re￿rdS kept by the charty and a comparison of the accounts presented wilh those records. It also includes
sideratioii uf aay unusual Items or discbsures m Ihe and seeking explanations from you as
tharity trustees con￿ming any such matters.
My role is to state whether any material matter5 have cor.e to my attention gving me cause to believe:
1. That accounting records were not kept in acccfdance wrth section 386 of the Companies Act 2006
2. That the accounts do rnt a￿rd wtth those a(zounting records
3. That the accounts do not comply with the accounting requirements of section 396 of Ihe Companies Act
2006 and wrth the methods and principles of the Charities Ststement of Recommended Practrce
applicable to tharities preparing their accounts in aCr0rdar￿ wÈth the Financial Reporting Stsndard
applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland
4. That there is fijrther infonnation needed for a proper understandiThJ of ts accounts to be r￿hed.
