**Purposes:** The organisation is established to advance education in the Irish language are of Lecale and its/their environs of Co Down and in particular to:   a)	advance education in the Irish language and culture;  b)	to promote Irish traditional music in all its forms;  c)	to promote awareness of Irish traditional dancing, arts, poetry, folklore, history and heritage for the benefit of the public.
