**Purposes:** The Company’s objectives are to promote the benefit of the inhabitants of the District of Cookstown and surrounding area, without distinction of age, sex race, political, religious or other opinion, by associating with the statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interest of social welfare for the protection of health and for recreation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants. To promote principles of equality, tolerance, parity of esteem and respect of all others views.
