To work in partnership with parents and guardians to understand and provide for the needs of their children by offering appropriate play facilities. To ensure the centre offers opportunities for all children regardless of religion, cullure, race or means. To promote good citizenship from an early age, helping children and fafflilies lo contribute to the wider community. To advance education and tralnlng opportunities for those working within the setting and students who need placements to develop their skills. To work in partnership wilh organisations who promote the development of early year's education providing the best opportunities for children to reach their full potential. We strive to provide a variety of stimulating activlties to develop chlldren's imagination, creallvity and curiosity. W& strive to develop Interests and skills which result in lifelong learnlng and enjoyment. We strlve to promote activities which encourage physical exercise and healthy lifestyles. We promote adlvities which help to develop children's Independence, self-esleem and confidence. We promote activities which help children to empathise with others recognising their needs, emotions and feelings developing compassion and awareness Ihat everyone Is valued. Achlevoments and perfomianco The company continues to maintaln a high standard of practice mainlaining links with the community and schools. The relocalion to Victoria Primary School has proven successfijl with our admission numbers well exceeding our available places. Feedback from parents reftects a high level of performance with most rating our services as excellent or very good. The latest inspedion from Education and Training Inspectorate ratéd the centre as 'Ou151anding°. We conllnue to ask parents for Ideas on how we can develop the company to meet thelr needs and using thelr feedback we implement those ideas to develop and enhance our performance. This year we secured funding and fundiaised to purchase our ouidoor classroom. This viill give us more wam, dry space Ihat we can utilise to meet the children's needs. We are extreme grateful for the huge effort of our parents and staff in making this happen. Flnanclal Review The company has been self-sustaining over many Yea and with good financial planning we hope to continue this practice. Reserves are needed to bridge the gap between spending and receiving of income and also lo cover unplanned emergency repairs and other expenditure. At presenl. the company has around 3 month's reserves. Pathway funding was secured for 2025-2026 and for 2026-2027, subject to availability of funding in 2026-2027. We are continuing to review our business plan in line with possible govemment changes wilh a view to ensuring the futufe of the company.
