The objects of the Company are for the relief of suffering and distress, the advancement of education and the protection of health; and in particular to provide for the public, in the Monkstown Area and its environs of Newtownabbey, care facilities in the interest of social welfare, recreation, spiritual development and leisure-time occupation for people who by reason of their social and economic circumstances have need for such facilities.
