TRUSTEES ANNUAL REPORT for Roslea Community Historical Soclety for the year ended 301h September 2022 The trustees present their Trustees, Annual Report prepared in accordance with Charities SORP (effective January 2015) and the independently examined statements for the year ended 30th September 2022 Structure. Governance and Management Roslea Community Historical Society is govemed by its Constitution. The trustees at the date of this report and those who served during the financial year together with the dates of any changes are set out below. Trustees l Directors The trustees who served during the year are as follows: Mr Oliver Mccaffrey Ms Margaret Callaghan Mr Sean Corr Mrs Ann Mulligan Mr James Lynch Mr Peter Connolly Mrs Rosemary Mulligan Roslea Community Historical Society is registered with the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland since 12th April 2016, under reference number NIC102369. Principal Address Roslea Community Historical Society, 10 Monaghan Road, Roslea. Enniskillen, Co Fermanagh, BT92 7AF Objectives and Activities Objectives Roslea Community Historical Society objectives are to advance public education without distinction of sex, political or religious opinions, in local history in Roslea and district in Co Fermanagh. Key Activities in this Year Key Activities focused on the local history of Roslea and surrounding area by undertaking activities and talks in Roslea Heritage Centre, utilising the exhibition space, meeting room. office spa￿. Exhibition area has displays on local agricultural practices, crochel making, photographs, local townlands. The meeting room and office is used by the society for their activities and to provide historical talks and classes on topics such as local history, reminiscence, crafts, and crochet making. Members of the society have undertaken visits to museums and attended historical talks at other venues such as Enniskillen Library.

Members have hosted visitors to the heritage centre who were researching genealogy and historical family history connections to the Roslea area. The heritage centre is also used by other local organisations to hold meetings and activities. The centre café has been used for charitable coffee mornings. Roslea Community Historical Society Trustees have considered Charity Commission for Northern Ireland's general guidance on public benefrt when reviewing our objectives and in planning our fvture activities to ensure that these achieve the association's purposes and provide a benefit to beneficiaries. Financial Review Review of Business Roslea Community Historical Society is non-profit making with net income and resources in this year of £4869.57 and é300 The trustees continue to manage resources in an efficient and sustainable manner. Reserves Policy Roslea Community Historical Society have a Reserves Policy, which requires that resenies are built or maintained at a level which ensures that the society's core activities could continue during a period of unforeseen difficulty and that the society's known liabilities will be paid should the society cease to trade. Future Plans Roslea Community Historical Society plan to continue to focus on controlling costs. while maintaining the high standards of serrfice to our beneficiaries. STATEMENT OF TRUSTEES, RESPONSIBILITIES for the year ended 30th September 2022 The Trustees are responsible for preparing the financial statements in accordance with applicable law and regulations. The trustees are responsible for keeping proper accounting records which disclose with reasonable accuracy at any time the financial position of the charity and to enable them to ensure that the financial statements comply with all appropriate regulations. They are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the charity and hence for taking reasonable steps for the prevention and detection of fraud and other irregularities. In so far as the trustees are aware: there is no relevant information (information needed by the charty's independent examiner in connection with preparing the independent examiners report) of which the charty's independent examiner is unaware. and
